ANC have been established in professional bird control since 1989, Greg Cowan educated pest control technicians in 2006/07 at the NMIT (North Melbourne Institute of TAFE). Greg was employed to ensure that correct bird control principles and practices were presented.

	The efficacy of the AVIGEL Pest Bird Control Agent, is a guaranteed registered avicide for the effective eradication of pigeons, starlings, indian mynas and house sparrows. Avicides to only be applied by trained and certified Pest Control Technicians Registered for use Australia wide.


	ANC Bird Control is Government licensed for feral bird control in built-up areas after receiving police approval. Suitable for open areas including warehouses, shopping centres and schools utilising air rifles.


	Pigeons can be effectively captured and dispatched humanely with the use of traps placed near their roosting or feeding sites. Utilising galvanised or collapsible traps, they range in size from low - profile traps to larger custom built ones to facilitate larger populations.

High Angle Access

Accessibility to high buildings does not prove a problem to ANC Bird Control as we are certified in the use of Industrial Rope Access (I.R.A.) and in a majority of cases are able to work from ropes where Scaffolding or Cherry Pickers are impracticable or are cost prohibitive.

An example in particular for Twin Rope Access was a problem of feral pigeons gaining access to the inside of the World Trade Centre in Melbourne via a hole caused by a piece of dislodged flashing above a side sky light. The location was too high for ladders and not accessible for a cherry picker. The hole was secured using Bird Guard.
